The huge Liwa Oasis is an under-watched site 160 km southwest of the city of Abu Dhabi.
Directions and access:
Easily reached from Abu Dhabi. There are two access roads, one via Madinat Zayed, and one entering the eastern tip of the oasis from Sila'a.
Birding strategy:
Bird any fodder drying field and grassy area along the whole lenght of the oasis.

Birds:
132 species (excluding escapes) have been recorded as of January 2020.
Namaqua Dove seems to be regular here.
